High quality tools!May 12, 2011
By pilot's_wife I just bought these for my kids to 'help' me with the flowerbeds. They are very durable. The tools are made of metal, not cheap plastic. I told my husband that the kids have nicer tools than I do now. I borrowed theirs a couple times, instead of using mine. :)

Great set for even a very young childJun 25, 2011
By Movesalotfamily Our son at 12 months loves to play in the yard and help mom and dad in the garden. We bought him this set to use under supervision. He already uses the shovel and rake appropriately and picks up rocks and small amounts of dirt. The trowel has a sharper point so we will save that until he is a little older. Very nice metal construction with firmly attached wooden handles. Would highly recommend for any child who wants to help work in the garden. These stand up to uses plastic shovels and rakes do not.

Better than plasticApr 28, 2011
By Nicole I was tired of searching for sturdy gardening tools for children and only getting flimsy plastic ones that would break easily. I came along these and when they arrived I was pleased, the handles were wood and the tool parts themselves were metal, very sturdy. No complaints

Gardening tools for toddlerMar 16, 2011
By D. Wolf I bought these tools for my 2 year old daughter. Although we haven't had them long enough to know the durability, they seem quite sturdy. The size is perfect for my daughter who loves to help and play in the garden. I wish the handle for the rake is slightly longer. In terms of price, today I saw the same set being sold at Target (under the store brand and in different colors) for a cheaper price.

I purchased this for my grandson who is only 4 and he loves them. He likes to play in his sandbox with his construction trucks and these are perfect for him. They appear very sturdy.
