This is a pretty fun little toy. I got it for my 6 yr old, and it may be a little above her mathematical ability right now, since you need to be able to add fairly well. More appropriate for my 8 yr old, who has a better understanding of money and each coin's value. They need to be able to mentally add coins up to $1.00, if they aren't there yet, they will get bored/frustrated quickly. I recommend it for 2nd-3rd graders

I ordered this toy and love it! My children play it several times a week and I love to play it with them. I even play it with my three year old! I just tell him what coins to press and how many times. It helps him learn the types of coins. I found this exact toy at Tuesday Morning for $[...].
