 cute, basic costume, but consider the material before you buyNov 22, 2009

This costume is cute, but it is definitely made of cheap material. Also, I didn't realize how heavy the material was either. I guess it would be good if you live in a place that is cold around Halloween, but in California this costume can be too hot for daytime use. It did fit my son well, except the feet are HUGE. The feet make it look more like a lion than a monkey. But overall, everyone thought he looked cute, so it worked. Just don't expect anything fabulous. It's definitely not a "green" costume if you are concerned about that, considering the material. Oh, and also does not make for easy diaper changes either.

My son is 7 months but is the size of a 9 month old. The 6-12 month costume part fit great except for the head piece. Couldn't even get it to go on his head because it was too small. The outfit was darn cute but definitely needs the head piece. Oh well...

"Only slightly enlightened"
Depending upon your child's head size I have seen this headpiece slide forward a bit too much (pad with some tp to prevent) or slide back a bit - sorry you will just have to suck it up and pull forward once an hour. Overall, just adorable and kept him warm and easy access to diaper if you need it!
