5Great Scooter for the priceJul 02, 2008
By L. Bond "justwhistle27"
This scooter was a breeze to put together. My daughter rides it everyday. She loves it. My daughter is 7 and meets the age and weight requirements. The foot board is a bit short, but she does not complain and simply loves it. The first thing she wants to do everyday when we get home is to ride it. She has never ridden her bike as much as she has this scooter. As for durability, it is holding up great. And is easy to carry in the back of our SUV. Highly recommend if you are looking for a good, durable, 3-wheel scooter.

1NO replacement parts for critical cheap plastic pieces!Dec 14, 2009
By D. Peacock
This is a very cute scooter, and my 3 year old loved it...until the rear axle broke about 6-8 months into owning it.

The rear axle is secured into the frame by two plastic parts that both seal the rear frame cross-piece and center the axle in the rear cross-piece. My daughter is quite small for her age (4.5 now, probably no more than 30 pounds). After a few bumps, stops, and such, one of these plastic pieces broke (the "stem" that surrounded the axle broke out of the "cap" that surrounded the rear cross-piece).

I thought, "no big deal...I'll just call the company and buy some replacement parts, and have it up and running in no time." This, however, was NOT to be.

I called the company identified on the sticker on the bottom of the scooter, Bravo Sports ([...]) at the number specified for customer service ([...]). I followed the prompts/options for replacement parts and spoke to someone there and we had the following conversation:

Her: I'm sorry, we sold that scooter as a "complete item" to retailers and, as such, we don't stock or make available replacement parts for it. We have a number of *smaller items* that we do this with.

Me: So, how is a consumer supposed to find out if there are replacement parts available or not for one of your products before they buy it?

Her: Maybe you could call the company and inquire about it before you buy the item?

Me: So, you have some products you support, and others that you don't, and the only way to find out is to call you BEFORE one buys your products?

Her: Yes.

Pretty awesome customer retention policy. I will never buy another product from this company again. EVER.

3Good for the right age groupMay 12, 2008
By T. Kraus
A three wheel scooter is fine for a 2-3yr old just starting out. The best thing is that it stands up by itself. But three wheels makes it harder to turn (can't lean so well) and my daughter hits her foot on the wheel when she pushes off (a problem you don't get with 2 wheeled scooters). If you are on the fence about 2 or 3 wheels, probably you should try 2. I have a feeling we might be heading that way at the end of the summer.
This particular scooter seems fine, put together fast, ride is safe, daughter loves Dora. Don't expect front pack to be there too long. Seems flimsy.

1Terrible qualityJan 22, 2009
By M. Granier
I purchased this scooter for my daughter for Christmas. She weighs all of 25 pounds and the plastic broke on it after only using it about a dozen times. I DO NOT recommend this scooter. Be sure you purchase a scooter with a metal frame. Not to mention, the stickers come off after it gets wet once! DO NOT purchase this scooter!!!!!

Handlebar screws were too short to fit the lock washers. The axle wasn't long enough to fit all of the washers, plastic, and wheels. Had to jerry rig it but it ended up breaking within days. Can't get any worse than this. Not safe. Do not buy. Where is the button for 0 starts?
