I purchased this for my teenaged sons. They are 5'10" or so and 180-ish. The Adult medium size fit them just fine. The fake leather part of the costume (brown) was, of course, all wrinkled when it arrived squished in the package. I was able to smooth it out by ironing on a low setting from the backside with a damp cloth. I think if you used a high heat the "fabric" would melt. So, be very careful! The white undergarment is very thin. You will need to wear shorts under it. The red cape is awesome. And, all the accessories that come with the costume are adjustable - the arm bands, the headband, the leg things...great stuff! The wrist covers are a little big but not overly so. The little kids at VBS this summer were very impressed with the "Roman soldiers" that came to see them.

My husband got this costume for Halloween this year and it was perfect! Sizing is right on. He actually wore a white long sleeved t-shirt underneath since it was so cold but it looked great! It went perfect with my Greek Goddess costume! We had to cut the straps on the velcro straps on the legs because they were way too long and were flapping around. Other than that it was a great costume!

This costume was great. It came with almost everything it needed. All of the arm bands and the one for the head were great. The wrist bands are huge, but they can be altered to fit correctly. I wore this with my girlfriend who had on a roman goddess outfit and we got compliments everywhere we went. Wore it to 2 different parties and everyone loved it.

I'm 6'3 220lbs and I ordered the XL. It fit perfectly and it was sturdy enough to last the holiday weekend. If you have very large biceps then you might not be able to wear the upper arm decoration. I got a lot of compliments and as ridiculous as this sounds, I felt pretty cool wearing it...Especially after all the girls wearing Greek goddess outfits flock to you.
