This was quite the glove. It's a little expensive, but it really is well made. All the parts are real metal, and the glove is like a nubuck material. I wore this for halloween this year, and the glove was a big hit. Quite scary and you can make all the same noises that Freddy does in the movies. Not meant for kids because in the wrong hands, this glove can be used as a weapon. Very realistic, the blades aren't sharp, but they are real metal. No plastic on this glove at all.

I MAKE THIS REVIEW BECAUSE THIS IS WHAT I WISH SOMEONE TOLD ME BEFORE I BOUGHT THIS.
I receive No Money for endorsing outside Amazon, I only give this review because I wish I knew then what I know now. I will review multiple gloves here. If you want a good metal glove, don't just take my word but look into what I am telling you. A little research goes a long way.
My actual reviews:
I bought this glove probably two years ago and was disappointed with it. First, yes its metal and not plastic. But its poorly constructed. Its Big(which was okay for me, but won't be for most people. The tips of your fingers will not reach the top). Some of the fingers are stiff, while others are extremely loose. Many have problems with the joints breaking on them either during shipping or after one or two uses. The brushed copper metal paint job looks poor too. And my biggest complaint is probably the glove itself: It's fabric rips easily and its got black spots on it. I guess its suppose to be blood? I don't know, it looks awful.
Also, its just not comfortable either. I would probably rather wear a plastic one over this.
A better metal glove on Amazon is the NECA remake glove. It has better construction. It looks really nice, even comes on a plastic hand to display it. The fabric is nice and not attached to the metal so its easier to fit on(or swap out with another glove of your choosing). Drawbacks: Its the remake version. Not bad, but we want the original. Also isn't screen accurate- the palm is cut out. And the worse part, it too isn't very comfortable. Its great to display though.
Now, If I had to make a recommendation to someone buying a metal glove, don't buy off amazon. There are tons of sites that hand make gloves and sell them. Not mass produced junk. Some are very expensive.
But some aren't.
For close to the same price as this glove, google razorgloves. Available on that site is a glove called the Boiler Room Creation. Its hand made, beautifully constructed (no worries about it breaking.), and its very comfortable. There really is nothing better available for under $60. You can customize it and everything.
And of course they have other Freddy Gloves available. Its worth taking a look at before buying this one.
Also, youtube is a great way to see this glove and gloves from other places. You'll get a better idea of what you're buying when you see people reviewing them in their videos. Very few seem impressed with this one from Rubies.

Ok this glove is WELL worth the buy. Yes it is on the expensive side but it is probably going to be the most realistic Store boughten glove you are ever going to find. The blades are metal and the fingers are almost like copper but im not sure. It also has a scratched texture to it so it looks old and used. Many of my friends liked the glove. It makes that creepy metal clanking sound when the fingers bang together. The only part about this glove i didnt like was the hole in the middle of the hand that nobody can see. Yes freddy has a hole in his glove. The only thing i wish was the hole could be a little smaller. I probably will leave it that way but if you get picky about it, it is possible to alter. Definatly buy this rather than the cheep plastic glove. This will last!

This glove is very cool all the metal is real. The only problem is that the glove part is made of a very cheap material, It ripped the very first time I put it on. Very dissapointed with this.

Excellent glove. The best out there. Perfect for Halloween or just to have as a collectors idem. Its bigger than most would expect, but will function for smaller hands. Not cheaply made like most Halloween props and costumes, but the cloth of the glove itself can rip easy, so be careful when putting it on. Blades, fingers, and plate that goes over the back of your hand is made of metal. And it feels like the real deal. If you plan on being Freddy Krueger for Halloween, you have to by this glove.
